CONTEMPLATION

Contemplate, contemplate, contemplate...

"This is My Body"

Believing is just the beginning... To continually contemplate on these four words, is to continually build a better understanding, a better love for the Eucharist, for Christ. If we truly love Christ, we must truly love the Eucharist. Do we truly love the Eucharist, as we say we love Christ? The more we contemplate on this, the more this reality will hit us!

The Real Presence - Adoration

We cannot see, but Christ is really there, really present for us. He is really in the church waiting for us to come and see him and talk to him. Are we really present for Christ? Do we not wish to talk to Him, to ask something of Him, to say how much we love Him? Jesus the risen Lord is right there before us, the same Jesus standing with his apostles after his resurrection. Approach Him with your heart and mind and believe. Jesus...

Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" ~ John 20:28
Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." ~ John 20:29

The Eucharist

The Holy Eucharist is the living Jesus Christ. Let us not treat the Eucharist as something other than Our risen Lord, Jesus Christ before us.

Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity.

The complete living Christ! God who wants to be with us... with such devotion, with such humility, with so much love.

Prisoner of Love

"and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the world." ~ Matthew 28:20

Jesus love's us so much that he is willing to remain inside the
tabernacles throughout the world till the end of the world. He has come a prisoner of love for us... Yet how many come to see this prisoner? Can you imagine how happy He is when you come and visit him?

Love of God - Adoration and Devotion

"There is nothing so great as the Eucharist. If God had something more precious, He would have given it to us." ~ Saint Jean Vianney
Christ give his all to be with us, how much are we willing to give to Him? Can we give our all to be with Him? How about one hour?

The Art of Silence

In a world where sound exist in all around us even in within our churches. We have become so use to sounds and been active that we can find it so alien, difficult to remain silent and still.
Adoration is about adoring Christ, and the best form of Adoration is silent Adoration... Why? Because Christ took on the form of silence for us. Out of reverence we can be humble like Christ, and also be silent.

Practice and develop the art of silence, treat it as abstinence from sound. Christ is not present in sound, but in silence. Let us be present with Christ, and adore Him in silence.

Knowing and Loving Christ

"If you love me, keep my commands." ~ John 14:15

Do you follow all the teachings of the Catholic Church?
Get to know Christ by reading the Bible, study the Catechism of the Catholic Church and learn from the saints.

Spend frequent time before the Blessed Sacrament.
"I have learned more from prayers before the Blessed Sacrament, than from all the books I have studied." ~ Saint Thomas aquinas

Holy Communion

The love of God: Not only died for us, but wants to be with us, and within us; to be one with us! How special is this love of God for us. For us, what other love can compare?

"If Angels could be jealous of men, they would be so for one reason: Holy Communion." ~ St. Maximilian Kolbe

Reverence

When receiving Holy Communion, are we showing our upmost reverence to our King? Is there other ways that we could do to show more reverence to God?
Do we rest on Sunday or do unnecessary work.
Do we prepare ourselves for Mass or do we rush.
Do we abstain for food for 1 hour before receiving Him.
Do we clean ourselves up, even brush our teeth.
Do we come early to Mass, to pray and to be ready to receive Our Lord.
Is your hearts at peace and not in anger.
Are we worthy to receive the Real Presence of Our Lord or do we pass and receive Spiritual Communion only.
Do we need to go to Confession this before receiving Holy Communion.

Do we genuflect before the Tabernacle.
Do we unnecessary talk inside the church.
Do we unnecessary greet each other, when we could do this before or after Mass.
Do we unnecessary clap and thank each other when all our attention should be directed to God.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass

The more we contemplate on the Mass as truly a sacrifice we will understand the significance of the Mass and the all due reverence what come with the Mass.

Christ the King

Christ is not just our Saviour, but He is also our King. Do we treat Him as such? When we go to Mass, do we put on our best garments, do we truly show reverence due to the King of Kings?

When looking to the Cross

When you are looking at the Cross, at home or church, and praying to the Christ on the Cross... Think of the really present, Risen Christ in the Tabernacle and pray to Him there. How special it truly is for Christ to be with us in all the tabernacles of the world waiting for us.

Awareness of our sins

Continue to pray to God, that He will in time reveal all our sins and that we take the time to reflect and go Confession every time we are made aware of your sins.

Reparations

Perhaps fast and abstain on Fridays and other days.
Do penances - Give up something you like or do something good that you don't like.
Do devotions - First Friday and First Saturday Devotions

A will to become holy and be a saint

God truly wants to be with us, but we truly want to be with Him? As we spend more time before the Blessed Sacrament, contemplate on our willingness to truly want to be with Christ and what we must do and willing to do with be with Christ for all eternity.

Expectation

I don't have time...
I can't be silent, sit still, and adore...
How can Jesus talk to me, I can't read His thoughts?
What's the point of it all?

LOVE - Let Him love you, love Him back, He is really there. Spend time with Him.

Believing is just the beginning...
